ASHINGTON, D.C.—Want to find out how many hours of charity care physicians typically provide? Or whether doctors believe they can spend enough time with their patients? How about the percentage of physicians earning more than $300,000 a year?
Answers to all these questions and many others are available with a few clicks of a computer mouse on the HSC’s new interactive Web-based system highlighting key results from the 1996-1997 and 1998-1999 Community Tracking Study (CTS) Physician Survey. Dubbed CTSonline, the new system is available by clicking here.
The CTS Physician Survey is a nationally representative survey of more than 12,000 practicing physicians and contains information about quality of care, care management, charity care, income and other topics.
CTSonline contains survey results for primary care physicians and specialists in the following broad areas:
