Answers to all these questions and many others are now available with a few clicks of a computer mouse on the Center for Studying Health System Changes (HSC) interactive Web-based system CTSonline. CTSonline was launched in June 2002 and initially contained information from the Community Tracking Study (CTS) Physician Survey. Now, CTSonline includes information from the CTS Household Survey, a nationally representative survey with information about 60,000 Americans conducted in 1996-97, 1998-99 and 2000-01. CTSonline Household Survey topics include: health insurance status; use of health care services; employer health insurer offerings; access to health care; patient trust and satisfaction; and consumer information. "The addition of consumer information to CTSonline is part of our ongoing commitment to make Community Tracking Study survey results widely available to policy makers, the news media, researchers and the general public," said Paul B. Ginsburg, Ph.D., president of HSC, a nonpartisan policy research organization funded exclusively by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Designed to be quick and easy to use, CTSonline allows users to generate data
tables from survey results in moments. CTSonline will generate a table, which
can be printed out or exported to Excel or Word. The Center for Studying Health System Change is a nonpartisan policy research organization committed to providing objective and timely insights on the nations changing health system to help inform policy makers and contribute to better health care policy. HSC, based in Washington, D.C., is funded exclusively by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and is affiliated with Mathematica Policy Research, Inc. |
